CLASS DESCRIPTIONS AND SCHEDULES

AEROBICS

Body Sculpt: A good all over body strengthening and toning work out, including weights, bands and balls. The possibilities are endless which makes this class unpredictable and fun.

Mobile, Strong, Lean: A mobility focused warm up, (improving function in joints and strength at ranges of motion), followed by full body strength training, heart pumping, (low impact) intervals and lastly deep restorative stretching. (Monday = more intervals, Fri. = More strength)

Strength and Endurance: This class is good for anyone who wants to improve their range of motion and functional strength for everyday activities. Straps, bands, blocks, or balls are incorporated into this essential workout.

TRX Suspension Training: Make your body your machine. Create resistance by harnessing your own body weight using the “TRX” a total body conditioning tool.

U-Jam: An athletic urban Hip-Hop fitness workout that’s bound to get your heart rate up. All ages and fitness levels are welcome

Zumba: A very fun cardio workout full of rhythm, music, and movement. A calorie burner.

SPIN

The original indoor cycling program; it is a comprehensive training system that simulates real cycling terrain, conditions and techniques using three hand positions and five core movements. This is an extreme cardio workout, but you get to move at your own pace while learning all the important spin techniques. Spinning is your ride.

YOGA

Qi-Gong: A 5000 year old Chinese form of low impact exercise that develops inner strength, reduces stress, and will increase your range of motion and vitality. It involves deep breathing techniques, easy movements, visualization, and meditation. Qi-Gong is a good abdominal and back strengthener.

Mat Pilates: The focus of this class is on developing three centers of control, the deep and lower abdominal, the mid-back muscles, and the shoulders. Classes are taught on the mat using a consistent sequential order of movements, which are linked to flow, from one exciting exercise to another.

Tai Chi: Is a slow-moving class which will improve balance within the body and mind. This class requires concentration as you learn a series of steps to be practiced and improved upon.

Yoga: Mind body classes, which teach relaxation, balance, flexibility, strength and breathing techniques. You will learn to concentrate while moving through a series of different positions.
