CLASSES
   Add a dose of motivation to your workout and let a professional set the pace. Classes are a great place to work out with a group of people like you and a skilled instructor next to you.

   Come and try Step or Kick Boxing, Spin to get back in shape, or relax during Yoga or
Tai Chi. We have total of 28,000 square feet of club space (this includes: aerobic room, separate yoga and pilates rooms and also a room dedicated to spin class). And don't worry if you are a beginner - we pay attention to all students.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:


Banish Back Pain: This is a therapeutic class where you will learn some basic simple techniques designed to rid your back of all pain.

Body Sculpt is good all over body strengthening & toning work out, including weights, bands and balls. The possibilities are endless which makes this class unpredictable and fun.

CCC (Cardio, Muscle Conditioning, Core): 20 minutes of intense cardiovascular exercises which incorporate elements from kickboxing, boot camp drills, and interval training, followed by 20 minutes of strength training using Glide Disks, barbells and free weights. The last 20 minutes of your workout targets abdominal strength, and is finished with a nice relazing stretch.

Chi-Gong is a 5,000 year old Chinese form of low impact exercise that develops inner strength, reduces stress and will increase your range of motion and vitality. It involves deep breathing techniques, easy movements, visualization and meditation. Chi-Gong is a good abdominal and back strengthener.

Get Fit Circuit utilizes the Hoist circuit machines. Eight week, goal oriented program where you chart your progress. All the basics of strength training will be covered. Must sign up at the front desk.

Kick Boxing/Turbo Kick Boxing: In this class you will learn to power kick and power punch, it's an excellent way to cross train. Learn to jab , hook and undercut all in rhythm at a fast cardio pace. This workout is a combination of martial arts, boxing, kick boxing and aerobics.

Mat Pilates: The focus of this class is on developing two centers of control, the deep and lower abdominal and the mid-back muscles, also known as the core. You will use bands, balls, and a mat to improve posture, strength and flexibility.

Power Pump is a strength training system that brings the benefits of free weight training into a group exercise setting. In Pump, one exercise progresses right into the next, which raises your metabolic rate and helps burn extra calories. All major muscle groups and both slow and fast twitching muscle fibers are trained in one hour to give you a complete body workout that will make you stronger and leaner.

Spin: The original indoor cycling program; it is a comprehensive training system that simulates real cycling terrain, conditions and techniques using three hand positions and five core movements. This is an extreme cardio workout, but you get to move at your own pace while learning all of the important spin techniques. Spinning is your ride.

Step is an aerobic class choreographed to music. You will burn calories and fat in these fast paced classes which use steps and risers.

Tai Chi is a slow moving class which will improve balance within the body and mind. This class requires concentration as you learn a series of steps to be practiced and improved upon.

TRfleX This Pilates/Yoga inspired training program focuses on using the TRX to help deepen stretches in common tight spots such as the chest, shoulders, hips and back. The ultimate in functional strenght training.

TRX Suspension Training: Total body conditioning tool that allows for the use of multiple planes of motion. The class works mulitple muscles & joints simultaneously. This class will focus on strength, cardio and/or flexibility.

Yoga: Mind body classes, which teaches relaxation, balance, flexibility, strength and breathing techniques. You will learn to concentrate while moving throught a series of different positions.

Zumba: A dance sculpting combo class set mostly to Latin and African music. A very fun work-out that uses rhythms and body movements. This fun cardio class burns about 500 calories while you are "having the time of your life".
